ANSWER

1. Unity and Diversity 2. Interactions 3. Structure and Function 4. Continuity 5. Homeostasis 6. Change Through Time

QUESTION

Explain Homeostasis

ANSWER

Homeostasis is maintaining internal balance to allow an organism to survive temporary changes in it's environment. Without it, periods of drastic weather and temperature changes would cause extinction.

Ex: The human body is maintained at 37 degrees Celsius for optimal operation regardless of the outside temperature.
